Anthony Ciccone 55 has been homeless for over a year, “The Messenger” here in Michigan has been doing a story on the 14, 000 impoverished people living in Traverse, which includes Ciccone. When asked why he was homeless, he said “My family turned their back on me basically, when I was having a hard time.” he says it annoys him when people asked why he is homeless, when he comes from a family with money, “you think I haven’t answered this kind of question a bazillion times, why my sister is a multibazillionarie and I’m homeless on the street?” he replies never say never this could happen to anybody. According to statistics issued by communities and Local Government Departments 44, 160 households were accepted as homeless last year, today a 10% increase on the previous year.
