Thisandthatblog was sorry to hear Andy Whitfield star of Spartacus : Blood and Sand has died of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The 39 year-old was diagnosed 18 months ago. Whitfield was born in Wales, however lived in Australia with his wife. Spartacus was his breakout role, he was known in Australia for his TV roles in “Packed To The Rafters” and “McLeod’s Daughter’s” Whitfield was on the rise to becoming the next Hollywood IT guy, with his sex appeal and blue eyes.
