Rapper Mystical finds himself in a familiar situation. A warrant was issued in connection to an allege sexual assualt.
Shreveport Police are searching for Michael Tyler, better-known as the rapper Mystikal, in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place October 22, 2016, according to a report on the KSLA website. Another man, Averweone Holman, was also named in the report. “Warrants were secured for Mystikal and Holman for one count each of First Degree Rape,” according to KSLA. “Bond was set at $2 million each.”
Mystikal pleaded guilty to sexual battery and extortion charges in 2003, and served in prison until January 2010. Later, he also pleaded guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to file tax returns on a total of $1.7 million he earned in 1998 and 1999. A judge allowed him to serve the federal sentence concurrently with the state at the David Wade Correctional Center in north Louisiana, near Homer.
