Do you agree with mayor Bloomberg of New York, saying it will be riots on the streets if Washington doesn’t get serious about creating jobs?   Too many college graduates are coming into a dry job market, with debt from 50,000 to 100,000.  Bloomberg reminded our representative’s   on what happen in Madrid and Cairo when people became despondent with how the government was dealing with unemployment.  He gives Obama credit for coming up with a job proposal,   “At least he’s got some idea s on the table, whether you like those or not, Now everybody’s got to sit down and say we’re actually gonna do something and have to do something on both the revenue and the expense side”    Share your thoughts in comments!! We would love to hear what you think.  FYI 😉 THISANDTHATREADERS!!!!

I’m surprised we haven’t had riots here already! However, unlike Europe, it takes a LOT for Americans to revolt. I think the “safety net” of unemployment insurance and welfare have kept people “just happy enough” to feel they can wait things out. If the GOP manages to get elected and take away everything they deem to be “entitlements” then yes, I think that will be the tipping point and we will begin to see riots and the rise of modern day Hoovervilles as people finally break.
