Ray Lewis prediction crime rate will increase, if the NFL
lockout happens, is nonsense.  Politifact.com
looked at the 1982 NFL work stoppage, when a 57-day labor dispute led to a 16-
game schedule being reduced to 9 games, and the FBI crime data shows the
crime rate was lower, during the time of the NFL stoppage than the year before.
Case and point the center says, “There is very little evidence supporting Lewis
claim that crime will increase the longer the work stoppage lasts”  FYI 🙂
